The Spring-Activated Closed Wound Drainage System is a sterile, single-use device designed for the efficient drainage of fluid, pus, and blood from post-operative wounds. It is commonly used after surgical procedures in areas such as the abdomen, chest, and breast, as well as in general surgery, orthopedics, and gynecology. The system utilizes internal springs to create a consistent, low-level negative pressure, gently drawing exudate away from the wound site into a graduated container, promoting healing and reducing the risk of infection.
Consistent & Reliable Suction: The innovative 3-spring design provides easy, one-person activation and maintains stable negative pressure for continuous and effective drainage. The springs' excellent elastic resilience ensures reliable performance throughout the drainage period.
Enhanced Patient Safety: An integrated anti-reflux valve is a critical safety feature that prevents the backflow of fluid, minimizing the risk of retrograde infection and ensuring patient safety.
Clear & Accurate Monitoring: The transparent container sidewall features clearly marked graduation lines, allowing for quick, easy, and accurate identification and measurement of exudate volume.
Clinical Versatility & Control:
The included Y-connector allows for the simultaneous connection of two drainage tubes, ideal for larger surgical sites or bilateral procedures.
A check valve on the connecting tube gives clinicians full control to pause or stop drainage at any time.
User-Friendly Design: A built-in plastic clip allows the container to be securely fastened to patient bedding or clothing. The optional sharp, keen stainless steel trocar and biocompatible silicone drainage tube facilitate smooth, minimally traumatic insertion.
